CARLOTA PÉREZ, THE FOUNDER AND CEO OF CP STATEMENT, DECIDED TO CREATE HER OWN JEWELRY LINE CALLED TASSEL BY CP AT ONLY 18 YEARS OLD. AFTER MANY YEARS OF CREATING THE PAST TREND OF TASSEL EARRINGS, COVID-19 HIT THUS NOT ONLY CHANGING THE WORLD, BUT ALSO THE BRAND. CARLOTA DECIDED TO ADD METAL PIECES TO HER STORE: CREATING NECKLACES, EARRINGS, BRACELETS, AND RINGS. EVERYONE LOVED IT AND TASSEL BY CP STARTED GROWING AND THRIVING.

HOWEVER, CARLOTA FELL OUT OF LOVE WITH HER BRAND SINCE SHE DID NOT IDENTIFY HERSELF WITH THE BRAND’S SIMPLISTIC, DELICATE STYLE AND SHE CONSIDERED IT TO BE  “ONE OF THE MANY” JEWELRY BRANDS FROM THE INDUSTRY.

IN THE SUMMER OF 2022, CARLOTA STARTED A NEW PROJECT: THE CP STATEMENT BRANDING. MONTHS OF CREATIVE SESSIONS, PROFESSIONAL CONSULTATIONS, HARD WORK WITH SWEAT AND TEARS, CP STATEMENT CAME TO LIFE ON DECEMBER 1, 2022. SHE DEDICATED MONTHS TO CREATE A BRAND THAT FOLLOWS THE OPPOSITE OF THE TYPICAL DAINTY, SIMPLISTIC, GIRLY JEWELRY BRANDS, CREATING WHAT IS NOW CP STATEMENT: AN URBAN-INSPIRED JEWELRY BRAND WHICH CURATES BOLD, STATEMENT PIECES FOR YOU TO MAKE A CONFIDENT STATEMENT.  

CP STATEMENT ASPIRES TO GIVE EVERYONE THE FEELING OF EMPOWERMENT AND SELF-CONFIDENCE WHEN USING THEIR STRIKING PIECES OF JEWELRY.
